A firewall that knows our servers

The firewall decides who may talk to the server. HT Guard runs it itself: it blocks addresses that attack, lifts blocks once they are no longer needed, and keeps a record of every decision.

What the firewall does

Every block has a reason, a length and a source: a guessed password, a malicious file uploaded, a web attack, a known bot. Most blocks are temporary; only addresses that keep coming back are blocked for longer.
